7 September 2048

That's the day I will be able to draw my state pension.

I will be 68 years old.

I only have to have paid thirty years national insurance.

Great!

The two little men mad of shells were 250€ a piece.
I think the French must really like old crap.

St. Patircks Day

Yes, a little behind the times I know, but we popped out for a couple of St. Patrick's Day drinks last month.
The fifty euro a round price tag did sort of take the shine off eventually.

And who said you couldn't have fun in Paris.......

Parisian Grafitti

Not of the highest quality I grant you, but who doesn't find scribbeled drawings of cocks funny?

The Taleban

I urge you to watch this:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/7980899.stm

A reminder of the evils of extremism.
Painful and shocking, but or the more so when you think that woman connot give evidence in Taleban courts, and that this is a perhaps the least severe of punishments under their twisted version of sharia law.

I'm reminded of a story earlier this year where a young woman, some reports putting her age at 14, was burried up to her head and stoned to death over the course of two hours.

Evil only continues to exist when good men to nothing.
